Smooth Finish

is a suspended cast resin installation art piece  located at the Tempo Hotel in the NuLu neighborhood of Louisville, KY.

This artwork is inspired by the beverage that Louisville and the whole state of Kentucky is well known for, Bourbon.

Cast into fluid organic forms, the artwork splashes across the ceiling of the corridor that connects Tempo’s hotel lobby and their cafe bar. Large resin shapes are suspended in varying layers that together make a flowing art feature which emanates a pour of Bourbon Whiskey.
